how are you all and ur little ones doing?.Iam doing ok.My baby is also doing fine.My MIL left to india 2 weeks back.iam alone taking care of everything.So could'nt post in this forum.Moreover i feel dizzy all the time.Don't know why.
Girls i have a doubt...Do u apply oil on your baby's head?.If yes what oil and how often?.My baby is having dandraff like thing coming out of her scalp.Please tell me what to do?.
Also she is having lots of acnes on her face(i put kajal on her eyebrows and also bindhi is this a reason?).Her whole face has turned dry and rough.She scratches her face with her hands.can we put vaseline on her face?.Please tell me a solution.

If you have to....

Hi Kals,

Use Johnsons' Baby Oil if you have to on her head. Otherwise babies do not need hair oil. Plus use warm Johnsons lotion on her skin and that should help.
Hope your move went ok, and you are managing well. Do eat well and rest enough, that should help with the dizziness.

Hi Kals,

My mom is applying coconut oil on baby's head. Even my boy is getting some white color dandruff kind of thing. Doc said, it is common for new born babies. Aplying coconut oil on the head is good for babies. Coming to acne, same here. My baby is having rashes on his face. His face become very pink with rashes. I am not sure why they came. I am using all jhonson products only. I am not putting kajal or bindhi. So that will not be the reason. Do let me know if you find out any remedy for rashes/acne.

I am applying jhonson baby lotion to reduce dryness. Don't use vasaline. It makes skin dark.

Sleep whenever ur baby sleeps, so that you don't feel dizzy.

hi kalyani
we had same prob of choosing oil, put coconut oil but that doesn't come off well with baby shampoo now not using anything, ask ur doc.
face doc said not to put anything, u can use dal powder aswe use in india, but don't know if its safe on acne..just leave it as is will heal on its own ...vaseline on acne will make it more oily.(I assume)
Don't wrry best person to answer would be ur mom in india or docs here..chosse whichever u feel is right.
Maybe others can help...eat food when u r hungry, weakness could be breastfeeding and lack of food intake and work. Take care
