Hi friends,
I hv a daughter of 10 months old ... her weight is only 6.20 kgs... she does not like to eat anything.... i tried to give her formula milk but she refused to take... Whenever i give her food she starts crying ... I m trying to keep variety in juice, veg soup. her food and trying a lot to see which she is liking... I am really worried.
I mean to say is she wil eat only that much which i forcefully give her.If I dont give her anything for 5-6 hrs she wil never complain...

I als0 have a daughter who is 9 months and only 6.9kgs.I had a similar problem with her till last few weeks.

i brought her a potty which looked more like a chair where she can actually sit comfortable .THE potty has a back support and a and also place to rest hands like a chair. I make her sit in it and then feed her . I sit on the ground while feeding her while she sits on the potty.

While I feed her spoon I keep moving toys. When she is concentrating on it I feed. Believe it or not it is really effective.WHY DON'T U TRY THIS.

I HAVE CHANGED HER FOOD TOO IN THE PAST WEEK. i GIVE HER NUTS, SPROUTS ETC. Also give her egg. .........smashed potato with butter, give variety like nestum,cerelac................give her health mix mixed with a little ghee in it ..................

My baby is showing improvements.

why do't u try this.................I AM SURE U WILL SUCCEED IN FEEDING UR BABY.................

to be frank I REALLY USED TO GET ANNOYED WITH MY BABY WHEN SHE IS FUSSY............MY IN-LAWS USED TO POUNCE ON ME AS IF I AM SPANKING HER AND MAKING HER CRY............FEEDING TIMES WERE A REAL HORROR.

HOPE THE ABOVE TRICK WORKS ON U.............PLEASE LET ME KNOW..................WHAT IS UR BABY'S BIRTH WEIGHT?.............MINE WAS ONLY 1.9 KGS.

i think u need to do a complete blood count of ur daughter which will difinitely help u. i have heard that if they r anemic they refuse to eat.

Hi Shashi,
I can quite understand your problem, try to make her eating environment more cheerful and friendly try adding music,singing poetry rhymes to her, give her her toys etc.I hpe it works for you.
