Friends,
I am ttc for the past 6 months.Since i was working and driving a lot , i had lots of stress and my periods were irregular i didnot ovulate untill May.Then my husband sugested me to leave my job and stay at home.The day i left my job, my father passed away on June 2nd and had to fly to India. During then i was taking \";provera \";as per Dr advise and i got my periods on June 5th and again on June 28th.On July 10th I felt i was ovulating but we couldnt have intercourse. Then after reaching here on July 12th we started again and continued until July 18th.Meantine Now I am urinating more and i have urge to urinate, Also i have little burninng kind of feeling when i urinate (urinary infection???!!).My questions are
1) What are the chances for me to become pregnant?
2) Will this urinary infection affect getting pregnant,because i was using salted hot water to wash the genital area to get rid of this urinary infection.

Pls give your valuable suggestions for me.My next cycle is expected to be on July 28th.

Accept my condolences over your loss. Like you and Sunshine, i too lost my dad two years back. However such tragic losses r too difficult to withstand.

As sunshine said, drink lots of water. Try drinking boiled jeera water, this will take care of the infection. Moreover, to be on the safer side check it out with your doctor too.

Take rest till the time your period date is overdue and then do a HPT to check ur pregnancy.

Please accept my condoloences over your loss.. I can totally identify with it. I too lost my dad a couple of years ago... so I can understand your stressors.
Firstly, since u suspect u could be pregnant, I would suggest u take aequate amount of rest. And hold on till atleast 5 days after u'r cycle is supposed to have started before taking a test. Secondly, for the burning sensation in the urine, take lots of water (normal temp) try to drink 2 -3 lts water in a day. If the burning sensation persists for more than 2 more days, then go to the doc to check for suspected infection. Something the urine burns because of lack of enough water supply to the body. It allows acidic build-up in the bladder and the urine that you pass will cause burning to the skin. high water intake will dilute this acidic build-up and the urine u pass will not burn and also be clear.
