Yes, You can get periods without ovulation Sometimes. But mostly it will irregular like 43 days,53days. Mostly a normal cycle is 28-35days. If its more than that then you may be having irregular periods.
Not all women ovulate every cycle. Sometime they dont but its not serious as they will ovulate the next cycle. But can still get your period regularly.
Irregular periods has to be seen by a doctor. Pace replied. I dont think you'll ovulate without a period, unless you are pregnant. Doesn't matter how long u'r cycle will be as long as you ovulate, u can/will/should expect period Sunshine replied. I'm not too sure, but as per a sexologist i know personally told me thta your periods don't depend on the ovulation/ egg. It depends onthe utrenal sac which later forms the placenta.
Every cycle a layer forms in your uterus which is where a fertilized egg would be implanted. When there is no fertilized egg, there is not further requirement of the lining, the body flushes it out in the form of periods.
But whether u ovulate without getting periods is something I am not aware of.
