Eating Problems:feeding during flight landing and takeoff

Name: Roopa



My son is 14 months old...I am taking him by flight to Goa from mumbai.Do I need to feed him during take-off as well as landing? I breastfeed him only during nights now and am worried that he wont want to feed during the flight. Any other way one can avoid the ear pressure problem for him during take-off and landing?

Hi,
You could try pacifier or give him anything to chew or suck. I went to India with my daughter when she was about 18 months old and I gave her lollypop and she was OK. Also, you could try bottle instead of breasfeeding him.
