Name: jyoti hi, my husband says he loves me and cares for me but if his dad says something then he won't listen to me. i want him to come to canada but his dad said no, now he wants me to come and live india. i am sick of this, first he will yes then if his dad says no, then my husband says NO. i love my husband! but i don't like this, he will say no if his dad says no, please suggest me something, i feel like this is effecting our realtionship.

All relationships are complex and no solutions are simple.Your husband is greately influencled by his father.This is because his father would have guided him rightly through major problems and trust has developed over time.

Spend time with him.Discuss all things related to your life.if you demand things he may get frustrated.Biuld relationship and trust so that he feels that your demands are as per his benifits.Think whether what you want will benifit him.Things will move into what you want the process is slow and requires investment of emotions and patience.
