Does any one know which brands of Formulas are available in india? My baby is 2 1/2 months old and I want start her on formula when I move back to india. Please advise.

NAN1 and NAN2 are the best from what our doc tells us.. they are the closest possible to breast milk... NAN1 to be given till the 6th month and then to switch over to NAN2.. hope this helps

Hi shilpa..

Lactogen is a good choice. I heard that Amul is not a good product for infants as there were some complaints about insects in the powder when I was in India 2 months ago.

u can use lactogen1 to ur baby till 6th month and then change to lactogen2 at 7th maonth and this is the one that many doctors prescribe it is very good and i used the same for my child when iam in india.ok bye.take care

Thanks so much for your reply. I tried to search for info on the web couldnt find if lactogen 1 had DHA and ARA in it. Do you know if it does?

You can try Amul. Its better than Nestle. I dont know any more brands.
