Hello everyone,
I have 10 months old baby girl, she is very active and a happy baby. But she doesn't eat much and doesn't drink formula, i need advice in how to give her more formula and what should be the schedule. also i am planning to give her macaroni and cheese for the night dinner as it has cheese in it, also can i give her butter in between the meals, she currently has solids 3 times a day but very little though and she has formula just once in the morning any suggestion is very much appreciated.
Thanks

hi asha,
i have 11 month old baby girl and she's being good baby so far.. when i introduced solids i tried many bottle foods.. she refused to take much and i tried making dal(with vegs, spinach) and rice (add some gee or butter for addtl calories) she started eating good..it all depends on taste..try different home mades and she'll surely start eating good.. reg. formula..try changing to different one..add little sugar and give her..also check the nipples u use.. i had tough time in feeding formula on her 6-9 months..i tried changing to soft nipple(evenflo) and she started taking ok..
All the best

Hi Vani if ur child chews on the nipple my advice is as follows: Buy a Camera bottle--the hole is just right , also most important is DO not feed yourself as I feel the child can smell breast milk when near you, tell ur husband/ MIL to feed the child, also try this when she/he is hungry but not crying. I have a 5 month old and i gave him bottle first when he was 2 mths old just to have him a habit of drinking from bottle as evryone used to scare me that if u do not get him into the habit within first 40 days he will NEVER take to bottle, However he took to it easily but from my mother, whenever near me he used to turn his head towards the breast.
all the best do let me know the reponse
