hi friends

my daughter is 19 months old....she still d rinks from bottle and doesn't like sippy cup....can any one who has passed through this phase givee mee any tips....please...

Hi vgp,

My daughter is 18 month old, she stopped using bottle at about 14 months age. She was also not interested in using the sippy cups. so I tried using a glass and she liked it. I had a discussion regarding this with her doctor also she suggested me to continue with glass. she said its going to be tough to wean them from the sippy cup also. Why don't you try this with your daughter. Try to give her a sip when you take water from the glass so that she will be interested in doing so. Thats how my baby learned and also I have some colorful kids glasses for her.

They and try again...dont give up and as far as possible dont show her the bottle. even one day if she does not drink milk its ok. put her favourite drink in the cup and try giving her. or even better try giving in a glass even if they spill forst time its ok...but they learn to drink form cup very soon.
