Hi All,
Trying for 2nd baby and I was supose to get my period on Jul 7th but havent got yet. I did HPT but that came out negative. I am really worried if there is something wrong as pregrancy test was negative. Please suggest if I should consult doctor or wait for sometime. I am 35yrs. Could my periods be effected by age ? My periods were regular (26days) and didn't had problems before.

Hi Shilpa,
I agree with Sunshine. Sometimes when we ttc it is possible to get our periods delayed sometimes even 7 days (it happened to me- although i have very regular cycle 28 days). You can wait for couple of days then take the test again. I sure hope you are pregnant though!

Hi Shilpa,
Just relax, u'r only 5 days over, it is possible in such a case for the test to be negative. Hold on for another 4-5 days then repeat the test. If u don't get u'r period go to the gynac for a check up.

Thanks Sunshine and Latha. I did get my period:(
It was just couple of spots yesterday and today it's heavy. Should I count as 1st day yesterday or today. Haven't seen this behaviour before. So, very worried.
