Hi,
i'm planning to visit india for first time after marriage in nov with my 23 year old son.I'm traveling alone so which is best airline which take less time & whose service is good.If anyone had any experience please share.

i traveled alone from greensboro, to atlanta, to bby via delta. i was unhappy with delta's assistance with a toddler. i had asked months ahead for assistance. noone helped at all. they did not provide any cart, or electrical car. i wud spend the money and travel via british, and also some kuwait airways have good service.

Hi Tina

Electric carrier is the vehicle that transports you to/from baggage. If you have a child with you, you can ask for this assistance. You can nicely sit in it with your child and luggage and they will take you in/out of the airport.

I don't think BA will go from Charlotte to India.

If your child has a seperate (which I guess he/she does, as he's 2+), you might take a car seat, but I don't think it is mandatory. You can check it all up with the airlines you decide to travel with. Check out the websites of the airlines, generally they will have all this info on the website.

Where are you travelling from? I have travelled on British Airways and their service was good. Whichever airline you travel with, you can let them know in advance that you have a child with you and will need special assistance. You can also ask for electric carrier assistance if you have lot of luggage (in fact even if you just have little, you can ask for it), it should be free.

Thanks for your reply i'm flying from charlotte.I think that i have to stop 2 places in this travel.Anyway what is electric carrier assistance.?Also is it necessary to sit 2 years child in car seat.should i take car seat in plane.?
