it was a log time i saw these messages..i feel so happy to revisit this site.
i am likely to ask you a question for my daughter who is 14 months old.She has turned 14 months but not able to stop giving her my milk.I work and she will be back of me the whole evening till i feed her.is there any way she can stop drinking my milk.i mean is there anything i can apply so that she will hate to drink my milk.i stay in US and i dont know where to approach and what to buy..please do help me out..

my sister tried this method with her son. hope it works with u all. in the night when they want ur milk, try to offer bottle. if they refuse taking that which they will, try putting milk soaked in cotton ball in their mouth which will be harder for them to drink as it will less in quantity. so soon they will realise its better to take bottle than sucking cotton ball. they will cry for 3 to 4 days but u will have to adjust. good luck ladies. Shelly replied. You can start giving her cows milk in sippy cup. at 14mo she should be fully weened from breast milk. It will be hard transition and she will most likely hate cows milk, add a lil chocolate syrup for flavor. She will soon adjust. if she dont drink milk at all thats fine. She is old enough also to eat solids. So let her eat that and drink water then. Dont frett if she dont drink milk. As long as she gets her daily protein she is fine! I hope this helps

i also have the same problem my daughter is also 13 months now n she sticks to me all the time mostly while sleep.i had tried many things like diverting her mind while sleeping but everything in vain . if u get to know some thing which can stop her feed pls forward me.
