Well, just wanted to update you guys on my treatment.. I went to see the doc... 2nd day of my cycle, she prescribed me to take clomid 50 mg twice a day for 5 days, and one other medicine, leitizen (or something like that) which I am to take after the Clomid doze is over... 1/4 after a good dinner at night..
And she wants me to start trying properly from this month..
She said let's give it a shot. If u don't concieve this month, when we go to Mumbai next month, she will give me a list of tests to be done from there...FSH,blood, to check if my tubes are fine (huh?!?) etc.. (frankly I have absolutely no idea what these tests are, and what they are supposed to say.. Archie, please shed some light on that..)
I'm trying to take all this in my stride...
And Thank God for you guys.. :)
I would literally sell my soul to concieve this month... It would be so great!
Anyways.. que sera sera and all that..:)

Enjoy this month without giving any stress or expecting anything. This is best attitude while ttc.

you should go ahead with tests without any second thought. They are meant to do follow your reproductive endocrinology to estimate what's going on in your body with reference to feminine hormones. FSH is one of those you will have analysis of some more hormones along with regular blood profile, thyroid and some more immunological complexes. The number of tests may increase but they are worth to keep mind at bay that all is fine with you and nothing should prevent you getting pregnant.

HSG is offered should be nice idea as it would clarify the status of your tubes, most important reproductive part as far as intercourse and sperm path is considered.

Do not have intercourse before CD10 or CD11. From then go for one week once a 24 hours.

I too hope you conceive this month itself..it'd be so great if you don't have to go through the testings and all. My case is similar too. If I don't conceive this month, we are going to go for the tests.

Well, i guess if your doctor says to do certain blood tests etc. Just go ahead and do it!! I think doctors know whats right. I was also told to do all the tests including HSG which is the test of fallopian tubes which your doctor is telling you to do.

Well, Sunshine, this test is done to check whether your tubes are patent or no. whether there is any blockage in ur tubes which is prohibiting you to conceive. The doctors will check all these things. They insert a dye through our vagina and then xray is taken to see if there r any blocks in our tubes. There is a sort of uneasiness but with your strong-will you will be able to bear the same. Well, in my case all these things were fine. I have also undergone Hysterolaproscopy and those results also were fine.

Pls. dont take any tension and just go thru all this with a strong will n u will come out of the same with positive results.
