Being a woman is a bit tough but I think it is an advantage. We are very strong mentally. We have so many choices and we can do everything that a man can do. We can create life and above all we make a house a HOME. So celebrate being a Woman not for a day but for every day.

8 Mar is officially celebrated as International Women’s Day. According to me, this day inspires women by celebrating their achievements. Functions, rallies and conferences are held all around the world and women get to learn many things. It is a podium for networking and learning form experiences. Many global corporations also support IWD.

IWD celebrations are a means to ensure the bright future of girls so that they are at par with boys in every aspect. Significant changes have been witnessed in this millennium but there is still a lot more to be done for women empowerment.
