When is folic acid to b started i.e. is it important to take it when TTC or is it ti be taken when one concieves?
Im right now doing my IVF cycle so should i take it now? since my doc has not prescribed im not taking it.
I had the same question abt shatavari too.
Its ok to start it now or is it to b taken during pregnancy or after child birth
If anybody can help me so that i know what to do

I think u should speak to ur gynae and start taking folic acid. i have been taking it for almost 2 yrs nw .

Dear Sanjana,
I am not sure about shatavari kalp but do take folic acid even if u r trying to get pregnant.
Also before buying it talk to u dr. He/She may tell u the better brand. I am surprised how come ur dr. hasnt prescribed u one.
I was taking pre-natal vitamins(which has enough folic acid) since i started thinking about conceiving. My Gyn told me to do so.

When I was just thinking about having a baby, I began taking folic acid. It's something that's lacking in a lot of people's diets - start taking it now.
