This is my first post to you in this , i have seen you advicing people & clarifying their doubts.
Here i need a clarification, i am trying to conceive for past three and half years,
when i approached dr they diagonised for endometriosis stage 3 and
done my lap during 2002 november in india and i went t singapore,i took
4 injection decapeptyl and waited to conceive normally it dint happen
and i started taking clomid for seven cycles and along with clomid
i did two cycles of IUI, all these treatment dint work out.
I came bCK india in month of march and consulted the doctor, she asked me to
take HSG and found my right tube has a block and she asked me to take ESH injection
vaginally for six weeks, I took two inj but i found dr very much money minded and not concerned towards patient, so i changed my dr. And my current dr looking at my report said all the treatment i took
were all like food for endoemtrisis , now i have gone to severe state and she said she will
aspirate it and imm. next month she will go for IVF and also said the best choice for me will be
IVF. Now i planned to have IVF but my question is how well this aspiration of cyst will help me
in doing IVF. And my question is it perfect to go for IVF , or shall i wait for some more time,
now my age is 30. Please advice me on my treatment, waiting to hear soon from you.

I am thoroughly confused after reading your post.
First of all given that you are a victim of Endometriosis you must know getting pregnant would be whole lot of difficult for you. If no one has told you then let me tell you Endometriosis is one of the major infertilty cause in women and one must get help of superovulation agents or gonadotrophins to control the condition and boost chaces of pregnancy with combination of ovulation agents and IUI or IVF.

Even if couple is healthy and facing unexplaining fertiltiy they fail as many as 3 rounds of IUI and 6 cycles of clomid, not surprising. I know most of the failure could be attributed to two factors,
1. improper timing of injection of sperms (could be rectified with continous close monitor in subsequent cycles and procedures)
2. hyperstressed couple, this can not be controlled unless couple in themselves choose to reduce their anxiety and extrude some trust in their fertility.

What you got as a treatment towards Endometriosis is
Decapeptyl SR3 and is appropriate,
HSG to figureout reason of failure and found one tube is blocked (your chances were low but now they would be even low to get pregnant given that only one tube is functional) and offered advise of ESH -which is gonadotrophin injections. In between you were also offered Clomid to induce ovulation, which is perfect for your case.

If I am supposed to judge I see no trouble with treatment. I am confused on two parts,
what made you feel your Dr. is money oriented and why did you discontinue your gonadotrophin injections?
What does this new Dr. means by treatment was food to Endometriosis?

Remember IUI over IVF is lot cheaper and technically both procedures have same odds of getting pregnant.

I think your treatment was fair to your situation.
