Hi Archie,
I am trying for 2nd baby and am on Clomid50mg from last 3 cycle but no result yet.after taking Clomid i am having some other side effect like triedness,legcramps,hot flashes,breast soreness and no interest in other activity.So I am thinking to stop it from my next cycle.Can u tell me that is there any effect on trying or ovulation??
If I stop my period and ovulation will be like that or it may be effected?after taking clomid now my average cycle length is 30 days and before this(clomid)it was 30-35 days.
Can i try without Clomid? I am ovulating in every cycle according my blood test but feeling very tired and no energy at all.
Pl.advice me should i try without clomid.one more thing my age is 35 yrs.

Thanks for reply.Archie,we didn't go for Semen analysis.Do u think we should go for it now? and i'll discuss this to my Dr. also but want to take ur advice also.Its very true that Cervial Mucus is very-very less infact i feel very dry when we intercourse.For stress we both r trying to come out from stress but don't know why is it taking so long.
So if i stop clomid then i'll face again irregular periods.before clomid I faced irregular periods since Dec04 to March05.In that situation it will be more difficult to concieve.
Archie! diffinetaly i'll discuss it with my Dr. but can u tell me what is the best option in my case?What is ur opinion?

Clomid is not miraculous drug for everybody.
It has it's side effects and you are experiencing them.
The failure to conceive is not due to ovulation as you say you are ovulation with clomid. It's
1. more of your spouse fertility.
2. Stress you both are going througn
3. cervical mucus which may have diminished by clomid treatment as you have hot flashes.

To stop or continue is your choice. The choice of clomid must have been made due to you both trying long or you not ovulation regularly. Stopping clomid will only result in irregular cycle as it was before treatment and add too problem.

discuss the issue with your Dr. before choosing not to or to continue with clomid.

Have you had your spouse semen analyzed.

Ward off concerns and anxiety to help yourself.
