Dear Archie,
As i had wrote earlier, I have been put on clomid 200 mg. Yesterday went for ovulation study the eggs are just 1.6cm in size it was CD15. Doc says, on such high dose ur eggs are yet not matured enough. But they are growing, that's +ve.
He says normal ovulation is 13-14 day. But also added that clomid doesnt make wonders for everybody. He might put me on injections in next cycle so that i ovulate earlier.
A question comes to my mind, is it possible when i was not on clomid i was still ovulating on 16-17 day and my cycle is normally of 26-25 days, is there a possibility of leutal phase defect?
If yes how would it be confirmed? is it something to do with progestron level ?
Is it normaly if a female ovulates 16-17 day and gets period on 31-32 day?
When i was on clomid for one cycle i got my periods on 31 day for 2 months.

I know i have asked you too many questions.
But just need to confirm probably this was the reason why i didnt conceive.

first of all I have answered this query earlier, whether the luteal phase is strict or can be shorter like 12 days, am I correct?

No, you can't have period on 25-26th day if ovualtion takes place on 16- 17 day of cycle.

Yes, you are likely to get priod on 31 or 32nd day if ovulated on 16-17the day.

No, it's not much with progesterone. It's player in luteal phase and starts boosting only if egg is fertilized.

failure or delay of ovualtion would be attributed to other hormones not progesterone.

true, clomid is not bliss to all but it would work around cd14 for ovulation in most cases.

Finally things can be different in one individual amongst several thousand, in biology nothing is 100% and there is always slim chance for any unthought possibility.
