we are shifting to pune shortly and have to still find a house in aundh or nearby area. want to know who is a good pediatrician in this area or around. thanks. Santosh replied. Here' s what I' d look for in a pediatrician - do others who I trust have experience with them? do I have faith that the treatment they prescribe isn' t overkill / will work? do they spend enough time with me guiding me through what the condition is? what can I expect when I go back home with my child? what the recommended course of treatment is? Are they warm / affable to my kid during the clinic visit? I' d also mention ' hygiene' factors - accessibility, punctuality, clinic conditions, affordability.

I' ve been regularly seeing two pediatricians that fit the bill in the Aundh ITI Road area for my two year-old, they are Dr. Sanjay Nayyar and Dr. Leena Hiremath.

Dr. Nayyar is my recommended pediatrician in the Aundh area. You' ll find him to have a patient approach and doesn' t hurry us along, taking time to explain what medicines we' ll need to give and what we can expect due to any illness. He works well with my child in comforting him while he checks his chest and breathing. We' re happy that the medicines prescribed aren' t overtly powerful. Dr. Nayyars clinic has a bonus play area for children with a small slide and rocking horse. Be prepared to wait for as much as 20 - 30mins on busy evenings before you get to see Dr. Nayyar.

The other pediatrician I' d recommend is Dr. Leena Hiremath. Her clinic locations include Jehangir Hospital, GPO Camp Pune, and Parihar Chowk Aundh. Dr. Hiremath has a strong bond with our kid since she' s been responsible for his immunization and treatment from the beginning.
