Hi,
this is my firt time with the message board. I hope you will be able to help me with my problem. i have been trying to get pregnant for past 4 years with no luck. i do have a 4 year old son, so we didn't think about getting my husband sperm count tested.
upon doctor's suggestion, we both got tested for everything under the sun one can think of. all my results came fine, however, to our surprise, my husband sperm count is low.
well, the doctor is not recommending us to go for the artificail incnmnation. it can get very costly as we can't afford it at this time.
does anyone have any suggestin as to what should we do? any other alternative to artificial incenmination?

Firstly relax. If you've read the previous messages then u'd know that this is exactly part of what I have been facing too. But my doc she told me one thing, she said the males sperm count is like the stock market with it's ups and downs. She had tested my hubby twice, the first time the count was as low as 1.2 million and 15 days later it was at 22 million. See the difference?
I suggest you don't loose hope on account of that yet. Secondly, gauge your husbands stress levels, he has to be as stress free as possible. The more stress he carries the harder this will be for him.
How old is he? His age will also make a difference.
Next, give him 2 table spoons of honey before bed time. I read somewhere that this helps.
Now relax, and repeat the test after 15-20 days.

Please don't allow yourself to become stressed over this. I know its easier said than done. But I wish you all the best and will add u in my prayers.
