I am planning to travel soon probably alone with my baby. My baby will be around 6 months then. I have a couple of questions.
1) what are the difficulties of travelling alone ?
2) what are the things i should carry from here to India?
3) i am exclusively breastfeeding my baby now. but most likely i would have introduced solids by the time i travel. will i get a private place in the airplane and airport to breastfeed? what are the difficulties?
3) any tips or suggestions are welcome.
Regards.

vish replied. Hi Priya,
1. First and foremost is if the baby is introduced with a pacifier then take it bcoz while takeoff or descending bcoz of air pressure in their ears babies will cry.so give them the pacifier or bottle(or anything) so that they keep swallowing.
2. Take lots of diapers & wipes & also formula with you.
3.Breast feeding should be ok.as suggested take a blanket so that u can feed.
also make sure you get the bassinet bcoz sometimes u might not get it and it will be very difficult to travel with a baby on the lap.
Best of Luck.
Shelly replied. 1- There are no real difficulties of traveling alone, if you have a good grasp on parenting. Just pack a diaper bag to take on board with diapers, wet wipes, bottled water, some toys to keep him occupied, a change of clothing, bibs, spit rags, etc..
2- You should take bottled water, plenty of diapers, wet wipes, clothing, toys to keep him occupied, teethers as he may begin to teeth, jars of gerber solids (bananas, plums, apricots, peaches, Beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, chicken, veal, etc *just some examples)
3-Breastfeeding is a natural process, no need to get private space to do it. Just take a recieving blanket along and cover your self while you feed. Wear comfortable loose clothing thats easy to access the breast, as well as a nursing bra.
I hope this helps some!
