Subject: please help..i am new to this forum

hello everybody,

my daughter is 17 months old...since she was 2 months she had severe acid reflux problem becoz of which she used to vomit a looooot..she was on medication for a long time...and now she seems to be doing much better. She is a very very picky eater...other than that she is very active and smnart and does everything as per her age..
The concern is she eats her rice dhal only when i put it in the blender..if i try mashing and giving it to her she throws up..she eats max of 1 idli or 1/2 dosa for breakfast..she still likes to eat her cereal..gerber one.

I am really worried when will she start eating regularly like other kids...i mean munching on mashed food. my ped says itz okay as long she is eating somethinig...she says not to worry. She started to get her teeth ..hopefully she will be fine.

is there anyone who is facing this situation?

as ur ped said as long as she is eating don't worry.toddlers are picky eaters.My son is 151/2 months old he doesn't eat for breakfast.
Afternoon I give him mashed vegetables along with rice & Dhal.he eats 1/4 of it.so everyday is different and their food habits keep changing.I keep changing the food I give like I give sometimes
Mac & cheese,Dosa(wheat,raagi,rice),Idli,Upma,Bread & cheese so that he does not loose interest in particular food.

so keep trying and it gets better.
