Feeding:Post-Viral Rashes

Recently my son suffered a bout of cough and cold. He has since recovered from that, but shortly after he came out with a rash all over his arms, legs and bottom. The doctor said it wasnt anything like Measles, Chicken Pox or any other worrying condition. He diagnosed it as a Postviral rash which would clear by itself. The thing is, my boy has had this for a week and it does not seem to be clearing. He is not itchy or subdued. Infact he is as playful as ever and it doesnt seem to be affecting him in any way. We has racked our brains trying to think if we exposed him to anything new - thinking he might be allergic to something, but to no avail. The rash looks like small redish pimples which as now slightly raised, but which dissapper when you touch them. Has anyone has experience of this or knows of anyone who has ?

I had used the Rashfree cream to remove the rashes. But, please confirm with your doctor, or there could be a side-effect.
