can we store avocado pulp? it gets oxidized.
i tried once and mix with banana he liked it...but rest idid throw away.

Hetal replied. about vegies, pressure cooke them to exact 3 whistles is faster than boiling a water. it saves your time.
pressure cook them at once and store on the top shelf of refrigerator with no probs upto 3 days,,after than, freeze it.
if you are making it fresh, boil them/or pressure cook them, add sometimees rices, sometimes pastas, sometimes just bread pieces ( whole grain white tastes good ),sometimes i throw some dal and vegies only,,also pieces of roti tastes yum..i put some salt, turmeric,i started with dhana jeera- cumin coriander pwder,and planning to start green peppers (not the chillies), next week.
add some cheese, if you are gving your baby cheese, it tastes awesome.

about avacado and its pulp, it gets oxidized.add some drops of lemon in the whole batch you make to store it. it will not oxidized. also, adding orange or pineapple juice to it, stores it nicely.
freezing right away will not oxidize it. its a very good source of natural fat.
fruit khichadi - rice, mix dals,apple,small piece of banana,pear and 1 dried appricot,in it, some salt,some cinnamon/cardamom or watever spices you introduced...i give it with cardamom, nirja liked it, with cinnamon, she doesnt go well.
i will soon post some recipes that i just tried, nirja loved them. but i havent made ne measurements for it.
