hi all
tried these. these ae actually the vegie version of nonveg ones. they came out great, nirja loved them.measurements are acc to the taste she liked.

1. mix dal and mix greens.just like the way you make spinach-moong dal. its yummy with mixed green salad mix.
2.apples, plums,tofu - 2 plums(pilled,pitted),1cup applesauce,1/4cup tofu(approx 2oz).. combine all,let it warm, great for breakfast.
3.lemon raspberry yogurt - fresh or frozen raspberries, yogurt with some vanilla drops, grated lemon zest.put them all tgether in blender, blend until smooth.great afternoon or early evening snack.store upto 1 week on top shelf.use ne fruit, i tried this it came out great, she loved to colour.
4.Polenta with apricots-1/2cup dried choped appricots,1.5 cup chicken stock ( i repaced homemade vegetable stock ),1/2 cup cornmeal,1/4cup yogurt(fresh)..in a saucepan, bring apricot and stock to boil..stir in cornmeal until nicely combined, reduce heat and let it simmer until creamy..let it cool.
transfer to blender if baby has not graduated, or smash with fork at the consistency you like, add yogurt. great meal for netime.
i m trying this recipe in cooker, still trying :) doesnt come out that well.
5. avacado, banana, yogurt spread. 1 banana,1 avacado, plain yogurt. mix all until smooth in blender, store in airtight container in fridge upto 3 days. DO NOT FREEZE NE RECIPE WITH YOGURT.
offer to baby by dipping roti pieces, rice, rice pieces.its a great dip.
other i give is mix flour pancakes, mix all flour(wheat, barley, millet, chana flour, rice flour, oat flour), add some vegies ,some salt, or wateverr spices you give, let it rest for 30 mins, and make pancakes of it,,or even dosas,,goes great with yogurt.
apart from all our indian stuffs, upma, moongdal - cracked wheat khichadi, dalrice, dosa soaked in dal, roti soaked in dal, pulav vegie and fruit, stirfried idli with applesauce ( nirja likes it that way,,recipe speaks of itself), and recently started boiled sprouted moong with rice, she liked them.for those who eat nonveg, add chicken, boiled eggs or minced meat with ne of these recipes.however, eggs and yogurt dont go well together.

sheetal i will try the recipe you mentioned.although,i give hr cauliflower that way.

take care, will post other recipes soonn.this is so far she eats.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
