Hi All,

He currently takes either Biscuits in Milk, Dalia or Sooji for breakfast; Apple or Banana for midmorning snack, Khichdi arnd 4-5 pm & Cerelac at 8-9 pm. He is breastfed till now.

If i give him something which is not grinded in food processor he makes a vomitting face.

Nidhi,

My son is also 8.5 month old and no teeth till date. I also give him mashed foods. But sometime I give him a piece of Roti or a biscuit. He love to eat on his own. But do not give him biscuit on regular basis as it contains maida.

Hi Nidhi,
Good to know u r still breast feeding him.Well U can start giving him non mashed food from now. What u can do is start grinding it in a semi solid form give him for couple of weeks then slowly shift to non mashed. Regarding roti I think wait for some moretime & then slowly give him rotis.
What I do with my 11 month daughter is what ever I eat I just but 1 peice of it in her mouth,in that way she is developing taste of food which we eat.
I hope it helps for u .
