Dear Naveena,

I saw your post addressed to 'whynot and all'. If you don't mind I'd like to ask you some questions since, my situation is almost exactly like yours. We have been trying to conceive for 4 years. And I had 2 early miscarriages (one is at 6th week the other one is at 7th).
Did you go for any testings after your miscarriages? Was your pregnancy with your daughter easy? Was it difficult to get pregnant again (I mean, did it take long time?).
Thank you very much Naveena, for sharing your story. That gives me HOPE! Because sometimes, I feel that the miscarriages are my fault, and sometimes, i am so scarred that I would never be able to get pregant again. I had my last miscarriage in Oct 2003. Even now.. right now, I am crying. Wheneveer i think about it i cry.

I had my miscarriage in the early stages around 50 days each time,One was in 2003 oct and second one in May 2003,and i can never forget how i felt,u know i stopped believing in god for a while and underwent depression each time
Morever it was the treatment with metformin and clomid which was awful,it seems they have sideeffects
My journey to concieving was not easy as i have PCOD so when i started the treament in 2002 seriously i conceived after periods were getting regular(there is some medicine which i used to take to get) regularly.
Docters say there is no particular reason to miscarry in early stages but was she said was also bcs of medicines(metformin )for it sideeffects
Then i came to US in2003 when i had second one immediately,i stopped taking medicines for a while,then when i recovered then started going to the docter,Even before i conceived for 3rd time i was on progretrone supplements(prometrium)so i think this helped me.
i don't know ur problem may be this can help.moreever wat i felt was if we plan in a cycle it never happened,bcs of stress factor.
Geting pregnant (meaning responding to medicine was not a problem but carrying it full term was)
we were soooo heartbroken each time .third time we never told our parents until i eneterd in to 4th month ,counting everyday was hell,i never told my friends untill sixmonths around except 1-2 close friends.
ya journey to parenthood was not so easy for me that is wat i felt,u know even when i delivered int he 36th week i was crying on the delivery room bcs it was 3weeks before due though it was normal delivery,we were afraid abt her health
ya every phase was difficult for me anyway i don't want to scare u or anyoneelse.
but onething we have to be strong and positive
one thing latha u know that u can get pregnant atleast so don't worry just be careful
Dco said if there are 3 or more miscarriages ,then it is sthing to worry
