First i had an ultrasound done which the dostor said was normal.then blood sugar fasting was 91mg/dl and urine sugar fasting was NIL.dosctor said these tests were fine as well.next set of tests was for FSH:5.6,LH:3.4,SERUM PROLACTIN:8.8,SERUM 17 BETA ESTRADIAOL:50,SERUM DHEA-S/DEHYDRO EPI ANDROTERONE SULPHATE:88,INSULIN FASTING:7.9,ROGESTRONE:0.2.the doctor said these tests were fine too.T4:8.4 AND TSH:2.1.

THEN I GOT HSG DONE WHICH WAS OK TOO.

then my husbands semen analysis was done,which showed he had a low sperm count of 11 million and motility of 40%.

after that we havent got anything done.

we got these tests done in the begining of 2003 after which my husband was posted out of the country.he just got back.

so we are planning to revive the process.both are very nervous and looking for a good doctor in chennai.
i'm 28 and husband is 34.married for 7 years.

can someone pls help us and let us know what's to be done next under these circumstances. NS replied. 1.Your husband's semen analysis has to be repeated.
2.Do your hormone LH on day 2 of your cycle and tkae clomind as adviced by your gyne.
3.Since the HSG was done in 2003-either a diagnostic laparoscopy or a repeat HSG is definitely warranted.(follow the cycle)
4.If your ovaries are responding as evidenced by follicular study and if your husband;s count is meeting the minimum criteria of 20 million then an IUI will help.
5.Even if it is between 10-20 as adviced by sneha it could be possible although the success rates are lower.
