i'm a daily reader to this website. i've a 8 month old baby boy. since last month he's not eating anything. except for his gerber cereal.
he used to eat all vegetables, fruits, khicdi, dalia, etc.........
but since last couple weeks- he's literally not eating anything. he wants my milk during his feeding time.
i can understand it might be becoz of teething, but if i give him like chips, biscuits..- he would eat them.

i'm extremely worried coz i'll be travelling to India this month and i don't want to face a nightmare.

someone please help.
i've tried all sorts of different combinations....he doesn't like any of them.

Thank God I'm not the only one :)

Hi Shweta,

I know what u're feeling, i was the same last month :). My little one is 9 months old and did the same, she didn't wanted any kind of food but will happily take (or snatch) chips or biscuits. Well Kavitha has said all what I wanted to say :). As far as he is not uncomfortable, crying and is active everything is well.

With Rhea, I gave her a little break and then after 2 - 3 days again started with very small amount of food and now she is getting better. So Relax.

hai swetha,
pls don't worry.. there is no prob at all.. as far as ur son is active, there is nothing to worry.. just check his weight and confirm its not reduced... as u said teething may be one of the reason.. this is obvious as he is eating chips and biscuits.. if he is always feeling tired, not crawling and inactive, then u consult a paedeatrician.. otherwise there is absolutely no prob..
