Hi Archie & all,
We are out of town this weekend and
finally, I have detected my LH surge on last saturday and had intercourse on the LH surge detected night and the next night. But my problem is both myself and my hus became sick from the next day. So on Monday we both went to the doc.
My hus had an ear infection and started taking Doxycyclin and myself got sore throat, very bad cough and ear infection too. I went to my family doc and she suggested me some CEFALONE antiboitic and for my very bad cough she suggested me TRI-VENT HC LIQUID syrup. And also she took blood and told me that she will check for the pregnancy and she told me to wait on taking cough syrup until they find it out whether I'm pregnant or not. But she told me if I take once it is OK since I'm not having sleep with cough. So, I'm confused whether to take or not? She said she will get the results in 3 days. Is it possible to know pregnancy in blood right after ovulation??
I'm worried with my sickness and at the same time ovulation. Will it effect the baby if incase I get my pregnancy ? What are ill-effects if one gets pregnancy when they are sick ?
Could anyone please share their knowledge........

I don't think you should be too worried on this episode. The antibiotic given to you is sort of cephalosporin and should not matter for your ttc part.

i would wait to take cough medicine.

No, it won't hurt embryo if this cycle has been of success with reference to your ttc.
