Hi all!!
Today I went for colour doppler because the doctor wanted to see the blood flow through the placenta as I am having some b.p problems and came to know that the cord lies around the head of the baby.:(.After hearing about the unfortunate and shocking story about Deep's baby(moreover she is a part of my family),we were quite worried about the cord.Now the doppler result has added to our anxiety.The doctor said that there is little chance that the cord will tie around the neck during labour as the baby pushes down,but she additionally told me that she will take more precautions now and constantly look for the stress in the baby during labour.Now I wish I go for a caesarean as soon as possible,but the doc wants to try for a normal delivery.I have almost approached my due date.Praying to god that everything turns well.

Now Doc. know so do not worry they will take care. i understand that after deep case everybody has tense but i dicuss with one Dr. about this he told me that it`s happen some time only and code is near that does`nt mean that u hv a problem and at normal deli. it will change the possition but all moniter so do not worry be relex

Hi Jaya. Sorry to hear about the cord but like doctor has reassured it will sort itself out when head gets engaged. Like the message posted earlier, it does happen in more cases than we know. Lucky ur doc found out in time, all will go well.

Hey Jaya, so sorry to hear about the cord...but like Vindhya said, now that the doc knows about it, I am sure he/she will take extra precautions....and you will surely have a safe delivery..

and yes, do keep track of the movements and keep the faith that everyting will be just fine...

your due date is Nov 7th right..so not too long before you see your little cutie...so hang in there.....

and take good care for yourself.....

Sorry to hear about the cord. It's good that it was found early, please don't forget to do the kick & hiccups counts. I am sure everything will be all right. Based on your doctor's assurance, I am sure the cord wouldn't go around the neck. I'll be praying that you have a safe delivery.
