Hey Vindhya, thanks for the message.. :)
got back from the hosp a little while ago...and have been sitting around staring at the cloudy sky... :)
NST went alright, she said everything looks ok for now and asked me to come back next week for another one.....
I will know when I can go for the ultrasound tomorrow.... apparently, their schedule is pretty full...can you believe that!!!!!!!!!!!!u would think they would have some openings for immediate needs....but NO...

I read your other message, I can understand how stressful it must be for you to go through the NST every week...and going through the measuring less thing at every appointment...i am so drained off of energy from dealing with it for a few weeks, I can imagine how tired you must be.....I am so sorry you have to go through it...

Like you said, we need to try and be positive...and hope that everything will be ok with our little beans.... :)

I am in the same boat as you with the matrix watchign too... I will have to go for hubby's sake...well actually I might be able to use my mom as an excuse and send him to watch it with dad...
You have fun watching it.... :) Hope trinity doesn't die and neo and her live happily everafter and have lots of babies.... :)

Hi Avi. Thx for us tips and wishes. Sure have mixed feelings about work but I guess since not long to go, with the cold weather, sleeping in the mornings till late sure sounds appealing...since nights are with limited sleep anyways.
Hoping the drink session will go well, have to clear my personal stuff from desk though will leave work stuff here, don't want them to think, aint coming back!
Look forward to chatting online from next week. BTW, LA is 8 hrs behind from UK. Would you have the same time too? Just trying to estimate the best time to catch u online. Let me know the time u r usually there and I will time it accordingly.

I am so glad you will be off of work, you really need to rest now....and I am sure you will get to return to your job after your leave..so forget about it and enjoy your time off... Same goes for you too Vindhya.... :)

I thought I would miss work too..and I did for a few days..but now I kinda like sleeping in, under the covers, especially on cloudy, foggy mornings....I am sure you will like it too..

I hope you and hubby do something fun and sweet this weekend...

Matrix mania...

Hey Arshiya, I can feel you about having to watch Matrix....I even have all the dialogues memorized.. :)
Hey get ready, cause if you have a boy, you will have not one but two action-movie loving boys.....

I wont mind seeing the last one just to have some sort of closure but will wait till it is out on DVD cause I cant sit in the theater either......

I've also read that fewer movements usually means that the D-day is pretty close.. so get ready mommy... :)
My bean seems have his lazing around days and being quite active throughout the day kinda days... and the last two days, he's been pretty lazy.. but that could change anytime...

I wouldn't mind an evening out with hubby too but like you, feel weird about mom and dad being at home.. .we'll see if we can do it when mom and dad visit some of their friends...

Avi, Hope your baby's head gets engaged soon. Just keep walking and it will help. Vindhya, good to hear your baby is head down. Yep, last week for me, Avi and Simmi.
Avi, have you been feeling lots of movements as before or less now? I have been feeling less movements. People tell me thats a sign of a labour now. Let's see what happens.
Just like Avi, I am also very familiar with both matrix movies so far. My hubby is a big fan of these movies. We have a hometheater in our family room and he keeps watching these two movies over and over. But, for this new one he will just have to wait till we have the baby, I can't sit in the theater for that long at this stage.
Will try to do spend time together this weekend also but let's see since my mom is here and I wouldn't feel right leaving her alone at home.
Anyway, we have had our time all these days anyway with no relatives around so I guess it will be ok.

poking my nose again

hi girls. i'm joining in the discussion again...see more of that when i start my leave, that is after tmw. i may just catch u online too. did u add me to ur list??
i like the suggestion vidhya made and i am suggesting to hubby dearest that we should do something fun this weekend, seeing that i'm so close to the due date, so let's see which film he chooses to watch, hope no action thriller. if not that, then dinner would be nicer...but let's see if we make any plans at all.
i'm sure vidhya, like me, u too r looking forward to putting ur feet up after next week. need to rest and get our energy levels up for delivery.
walking and in time the head will get engaged, u still have few days to go. so keep the faith vidhya.
i am hoping to start walking in the evenings with hubby when i start my leave, since won't be able to have my lunch time walks like work.
strange kind of way would miss my work home routine, though swollen hands and feet r saying, time to REST.

Hey V, I love this weather so much... that I really wont mind a long drive if I was able to handle it.....but yeah they sure have to wait for now...

ya know, thinking about it... I dont remember the last time hubby and I went out for dinner..that sure would be nice..
newly weds like you and your hubby should be doing it more... :)

I went to the mall cause I was feeling guilty that parents might be getting bored at home....and I thought I would buy em' hospital night gowns and robe too....didn't like any....so have to do it this weekend and get some walking done too at the same time........

Reno - too far

I wasn't thinking of long drives or far getaways, I was suggesting a dinner or even a movie that wouldn't involve any stress. Since you are almost there, I guess all this can wait.

Hope you have completed your shopping and not have to go to the mall again. Sorry to hear about the pain after your mall trip. Take rest and do walk if you can.

Vindhya, So, your baby's head is down... that's good.. she will move further down when she is ready....
and so will mine hopefully...

I am sure you must be looking forward to sleeping in and lazing around....once you are off of work...

Hubby's been really busy at work lately and didn't get a chance to get the safety check done....will have to do it one of these days....and looks like unless they have some special events like the one Ashra mentioned a while back, the checks are done only on weekdays..

will be nice to go somewhere with hubby...it's been quite a while...
will also be nice to atleast go drive around Reno or tahoe..(my mom likes em' slot machines)but dont think I can sit in the car for that long....
we went to great mall the other day and I was tired of the 1 hour drive to start off with and after an hour in the mall, I just needed to come back home....

Hope you and your hubby can plan some small and sweet getaway.....

Doctor took a while to locate the head. I guess, it wasn't as low as she would've expected at 36 weeks. I hope your little bean's head gets engaged soon. Like others, I think you should start walking too.

Regarding Matrix, it's good to send your hubby and dad instead. Do plan to go somewhere with your husband before your baby arrives.

Yes, next Friday is my last day at work. I am feeling fine, no discomforts as of now. I am quite excited about the leave.

Did you get your car seat fixed. Alameda PD has the facility too, but like BPD, it's only on week days. So, there's no other alternative.

25 more days.....

Hey Vindhya, a happy ending for all of us is what I am praying for as well... Hope this month goes by fast and faster and all of us have our babies out safe and healthy faster than that.....

the RN today told me that most probably, I will need some help with the labor cause baby's head is not as low as it ought to be (not engaged)....so I guess I will be in the line ....and hopefully not behind someone expecting twins.. :)

Hopefully, your little princess will turn by your next appoinment...did your doc feel your tummy or did she just generally tell you what lack of pelvic pressure might mean?????????

I will most probably not get an U/S appoinment for tomorrow...I will only know when and If I can go in for one and hopefully it will be before the 14th... .. Your are so right about making the technology more easily available...
this is the reason I hate HMO's ..they will do whatever they can to cut costs...
we'll see how it goes..

lol imagining you sleeping in the theater... :)
My hubby wasn't happy with watching both of them on screen, he bought both the DVD's aand watches them over and over and over again... that's why I know the characters like I know the back of my hand... :)

Hi Avi,

I am very happy to read that the test went well, that is all we need, just to make sure everything is fine.

These things are way too stressful, I am glad & hoping all this will have a happy ending.

Good luck with your ultrasound tomorrow. Forget about why you are going, just think that you got a chance to see your little bean before you meet him personally. Be positive and I am sure everything will turn out fine. I am sure the smaller measurement is due to your little bean's position.

I can't believe that it's so hard to get an appointment, I wish they open more facilities, it's a god send technology.

As for Matrix, I don't even remember the characters. I was sleeping in the theatre most of the time.
