Due Date Club December 2005:I am a dad!!!!

Name: staney Hi All,

I proudly announce the birth of our sweet cute daughter. She was born on 24th Dec at 4.28 pm.

I need to get back to my wife ,so will write in detail later.My wife gerita went for a routine check up on 24th morning and the doc suspected something was wrong and asked her to go in for a sonography . Gerita called me up in office and i ran off from office to be at her side. During the sonography it was spotted that the umbilical cord had wrapped itself round the babies neck ,not very tightly ,but it was leading in minor fluctuation of heart beat . So we immidly decided against waiting for a normaly viginal birth and went in for a c section,Our baby girl was already full term as my wife had completed 40 weeks on 21st Dec. The operation was smooth and I had my baby in my hand at 4.47 pm. She is ssssssssssoooooooooooo cuteeeeeeeeee , and she kept me awake all night,the moment i keep her down in the night she starts crying. She seems to be the true papa's girl.!!!!

Thanks for all the precious help and support , Archie and Nandini.It was sooooooo coool to see m baby. Gerita is also suuuper fine and will start eating semi solids by evening today.
