Trying since long:Please...tell me..I am worried.

Hi girls,

I am ttc these days. Today I used the Ovulation kit(Clearblue easy) for the first time- it did not show anything- neither the surge line, nor the reference line- What it could mean?? I am really confused. I conducted the test according to the instructions given in the booklet. I held the stick in the urine stream for 5 seconds( as written in the booklet) and waited 3-5 minutes to show the result- but it didn't show anything.

Please tell me- what could be the reason? Guide me please.

Hi Vinitha & Latha,

It worked fine this time. Yeah, you girls were right-sometimes these sticks don't work properly. The next day, it showed the refernce line, but not the surge line :(. Anyway...I will keep trying.

Thank u very much.

Dear mom 2 b,

If you feel holding the stick in urine stream for 5 secs. is not enough, you can collect urine in a clean, dry cup (I use 'use and throw' cups)and hold the absorbent wick at least halfway into the urine for 10 secs.
Good luck,
Latha

Thanks Vinny...I will repeat the test tommorrow and hopefully it should go okay this time.

I have a doubt- Should I hold the stick for more than 5 seconds, beacuse today I felt like the 5 second time is not enough to soak the absorbent ? What do you suggest ?
