hi there. i am a new friend of yours. i have a six month baby whom i ve started feeding solids. pls tell me what are prunes in hindi and do u get them in india. i ve heard their juice is gud for treating constipation......

Hi,
Actually prunes are nothing but dried alu-bhukara,just try getting them and keep it for somedays in a dry place,which will turn to prunes.even i tried it and it worked..

My daughter too suffered from constipation. She was around 6 months then. The doc advised me to start vegetable soup as treatment. So I would give her carrot and spinach soup everyday. That became a habit and I continued till she was around 3 and 1/2 years. I stopped the routine just recently, because she was eating our sabzis properly and did not need soups anymore.

unfortunately prunes aren't availabe in India. but \"; aloo bukhara\"; is availabe in India.
try giving your baby more fluids.
