I am trying to understand people like you. I fail. Did your self esteem take a beating when you had girls? Did you get critisused by your family? Do they or you feel a woman' s position gets more solid if she has a boy? Why are you helpless? Those parents you mention in your post who are \" Educated\" because they check if its a boy and kill their baby girls are disgusting. How can anyone condone that? If you really want a boy will you consider adoption? There are so many children who need a home. I hope you will love your girls unconditionally and be a balanced and sensible mother to them and not focus anymore on this issue.

I understand what you mean, but try looking at bigure picture. Nowadays Girls are no less than boys. Ask those people who cant have babies or who have miscarriages...and u will feel how lucky u are that u have someone who call u mom and look upon you for everything. If i am at ur place my wld focus on how to bring them up so that they do good in studies and become good human!!!! Proud mom on 2 beautiful daughters replied. If u r capable of reading & writing these posts then why can' t ur thought process be as educated .. I have 2 daughters one is 3 yr old another one is 10 months and not a single time I have felt helpless its mainly ur attitude that matters .... so plz stop discriminating .... believe me my daughters can easily beat any boy of their age in capability & intelligence . Ur kids can never be faulty ur upbringing definitely will be so u better get ur act right and provide ur daughters with all love attention which they deserve very much. Stop worrying and start feeling blessed !!!!

I am totally in support to this post.
Indian, you should stop aching for a boy. After all now-a-days what difference it makes to have a boy or a girl ?? Believe me, your girls will care more for you in your old days than a boy can care. Deciding the sex of baby is in not your hands, but taking proper care of the babies is in YOUR hands. Be sure that your desire for a boy should not hurt / afftect the girl´ s progress.
