Dear Archie and All,

My LMP was on 4th March. And till now i have not got periods. Otherwise my periods are regular in 30-32 days.

We had been to the doctor y'day, who did abdominal as well as vaginal scanning and said that there is no sign of pregnency (no sac) as yet. But she said she could see 2 cysts.

(There were no cysts when a vaginal scanning was done on March 17 2005).

She has not told anything specific as to whether there is still a chance of pregnency. She has told us to wait for 2 weeks more and then again come for scanning.

I have hopes somewhere in the mind though I try to tell myself to be ready for anything.

Please share your valueable experiences/thoughts/advises.

I posted a reply to your message just one hour ago and my periods showed up now. So posting this.

This time I am getting it after 42 days.
In addition to the failure in conceiving I am worried with this irregular periods.

Archie, kindly tell me
if clomid is known to create this irregularity in periods and
the overian cysts found in the ultrasound will disappear or are of concern?

It is good to have someone like you, though unknown, when feeling really down in life with such concerns.

Ok Archie, I will wait for 2 weeks more. But this phase has become hard for me. Cannot concentrate on work. I really hope that in 2 weeks sac shows up.

Archie, I was on clomid 50mg in the month of Feb 2005. But I got periods on March 4th (31 days). But didn't take in March. So can it be the effect of clomid(taken in previous month) that I ovulated late in March?

My question is more of childish, if you answer, I will be happy but I do not expect you to. Just expressing my thoughts...
Yes...I will wait patiently for 2 more weeks.

Will be taking HPT today..

when your ultrasound failed to detect anything then there is really less likely possibility of pregnancy.

But it may be that your cycle has to disturbed and you ovulated late than usual and in that case in another two weeks your sac will show up. Please hang in there.

I think you should not have rushed to Dr. before taking home pregnancy test, that's obscene expenses for nothing.
