Hi Archie,
Thanks for the advices u gave me before about my queries.Today again i m bothering you.Ok my query is that i am trying for last 5 cycles for my second baby after having miscarriage in June 2004 (10 weeks).

Last month i went to my doc for checkup. she scanned and checked my ovaries and tod me that i was ovulating that day and my ovaries seems to be perfect. she advised to have sex positively that day which we did that night. next day after sex the whole day there was discharge.

Now the thing is that i didnot concieve becos yesterday my periods started again.I am worried about my fellopin tubes. is there anything wrong with it since i had a discharge the whole day after sex.
My doc asked me to come on day 2 to day 5 for blood test and Day 7 for scanning.Is there anything wrong with my fellopin tubes .what are the chances of mucus filled in tubes after DnC.

archie replied. Dear Shalini,
nothing is wrong with your fallopian tube from what you said.
The fact your Dr. said you were ovulating and go ahead with intercouse suggest that your tubes were alright. Had there been a problem your Dr. would have brought to your attention.

Failure I could attribute to two factors
timing, it may be that before you have had sex your ovualtion was done and may be it was already died.
Secondly, and most likely possibility you stressed yourself and may have stressed your husband by telling all reports and this is worst enemy of any couple while trying. It was a great positive sign and you should have taken things easy, which you may say you did.

Regardless of ovulation and tubes you only have 20% chances at each successful cycle. Never count on each ovulation would result in pregnancy, had that been case then each ovulating girl would have got pregnant in cycle she is trying but the fact remains that it takes as long as 1 year to get pregnant for one who regularly ovulate and spouse is with normal sperm count!
