Just keep up with the breastfeeding and if you are giving her any veggies or cereal, do not force her. During the journey, kids will not have good appetite. So remember the rule, DON'T FORCE your child to eat especially when you are in the flight. She will eat well if she gets really hungry. My girl used to eat 2 jarful quantity of veges or fruit but in the flight, she just ate half a jar and she was very happy with it. I mainly breastfed her as she wouldn't take bottles too. Also, don't feel embarrassed while breastfeeding in public as everyone will love a calm, quiet and satisfied baby during the journey.
If you have asked for a bassinet, you could use that as her seat.
My Ped. recommended benedryl to make my daughter sleep during the journey. Remember to try benedryl and check its reactions as it may cause a child to be hyper and not sleep at all. I never gave it to my daughter but you might check with your Ped.
I didn't try giving cereal during the journey as she was into fruits and veges and I took organic baby food jars. I took plenty of them and didn't want to try out the jarfood that the airlines provide. My point is take anything that your child is used to feeding and don't try anything (even any brand) new. Take a lot of snacks , again the ones that she really loves.

All the best for the travel and hopefully she will sleep most of the time.

hi

U are very lucky if u ask me. travelling with a totally breastfed baby is very easy. all u need to do is keep feeding her during landing and takeoff. in between u can mix cereals with boiled water(u can carry in a bottle) and feed her. not being in india has made some things complicated. we dont have high chairs in india to feed the baby. take it easy!! u will not have nay problem with ur child. most of the time she will sleep 'coz of the sound and motion.

good luck!!
