hi archie and all,
today was my 4th scanning and it was my cd 15 day .my report says that egg already ruputred but without growing of follicle which was 15.5 mm in my previous scanning which was done on cd 13.i have written in my last mail about that.
now today doctor told me to have sex today and tomorrow for some chances and if i get my periods which i believe i will get 100%,then from my next cycle i should go for T. clomid 50 mg from cd 2 day of my cycle for 5 days.and then she said we will do again and lets see whether now it has increased in tis size .she said follicle should increse upto 17.5-18mm when it ruputers egg.
now my question is is it ok if i dont go for scanning again and just wait and watch as everything goes from our own pocket i stay in a gulf country.every time she takes for consultant also though my doctor is indian.one more thing i am afraid as i have heard with clomid there r chances of multiple births.i already have 1 child.and after having clomid is it that i can conceive it hat 1st mnt only or do i have to take for some more mnts if i dont conceive.and 1 more thing from may to july end i will go for vacation to usa with my son will be away from my husband so in that case i will get this mnt only 1 cycle to try with clomid and then if i am away from my husband is it ok if i dont have clomid during those mnts and then come back and have?
sorry for asking so many questions as i am too much confused today and nervous.
because my reports came like this and if i try also and become pregnant also will my pregnancy be smooth like my 1st one or will some thing happen i mean miscarriage or something as this was trying with diffulty.thank-u very much for reding with patience and waiting for ur replies.thnks. once again,

Lets sum your story.
Your follicle size was not too far from required but not impressive as well. If you have had sex on CD13 and CD14 then it would have chances of conception. I am not sure how much one can gain after rupturing the egg. Sex must happen around ovulation or prior to rupture from ovulated hour.

I don't think trying clomid in coming cycle is a good idea. Clomid does not make miracle to everybody and that it may require as high as six cycles. In my opinion one must go on increasing dose of clomid in successive cycles. If you have plans on flying to usa then don't even think of trying to conceive before that. The miscarriages do occure in first trimester, which is going to be the case if you give a shot to clomid in next cycle and God wills to bless you.

I think you should enjoy vacation and come back and then give a shot naturally for about 2-3 cycles, sex on CD12 to CD15 and no more sex before and after suggested dates. If you fail then go for clomid and lets see if you need one round to make miracle or six rounds.

yes clomid can lead to multiples, no one can say whether you will get multiples or single. As long as you care to get pregnant forget about multiples and if this concern then Clomid is not your bet.
