guys i m a mother of 5 months old son.i work in a PSU.my work timings are 9:30 to 6.currently im on maternity leave but will have to join office frm 1st of sep.the prob is that my son simply refuses to feed on anything except breast milk.my doctor adviced me that i sud give only BM for first 5 months but now when i try to give him lactogen or dal ka pani he simply does not prefer to drink it.i m worried coz wot will happen when i join the office.i also tried to bottle feed him but that too he did not like and started crying.i tried to give him suji kheer but he started coughing.though he likes taking dal ka pani but that too only 2-3 tea spoons.i m very worried.wot should i do ?

I have 9months old baby. I am sharing what i did in tha same condition. try to feed you baby from bottle when he/she is sleeping. or when he/she is very hungry. in the start they do refuse...but after 2-3 times..they accept it. Dont think of leaving job.

try this.it worked in my case. Deepa replied. I had a similar issue, I got my leave extended for another 2 months. When my manager couldnot extend my leave any further, I quit..took a break and joined another company when my baby was 10 months old. divya makkar replied. Hi ! i can understand your problem because i m also sailing in the same boat i have a 10 months daughter who doesn' t take bottle or any solid thing and she is underweight also. She used to take bottle feed in the earlier one or two months but after that she never takes milk she doesn' t like suji kheer nor custard nor does she like ceralac. I work in Government so u can understand it is very difficult to leave the job. I am also in the same dilemma wot to do. How much will i extend my leaves. But in your case i think you should extend your leave further atleast till the time your child is one year old. Where r u going to leave ur child in your absence with any family member or maid or creche?
