Is GM diet safe to take sfgirl replied. Hi, The GM diet is a bit harsh but I did it about 2 months after my pregnancy and it helped me lose 10 lbs. Really! The first two days were really tough but after that it was fine. I felt that after my pregnancy i needed a jump start to weight loss and it helped me. Now i eat sensibly and smaller portions but i can definitely attribute the weight loss to the GM diet. sweety replied. The GM diet looks good but I feel that it may cause more harm than good.
For those who don' t know what GM dieting is-its a diet that puts food restrictins for the days of the week.

Why a problem?
Well first, your body needs food-protein, vitamins, minerals etc.this diet gives you that but doesn' t let your body digest the nutrients correctly.

For someone who wishes to diet I would only say that the best way is eat 6 times a day, smaller poritons, watch calorie intake, and try to remain on natural homemade foods.

Calorie count- to loose 1 pound you must burn 3500 calories. If you eat 1500 calories then you have to work out to burn 5000 calories to burn 1 pound. Seems crazy huh...
Exercise and feed the body, you will be fine.
