Hi,
On satur i was given a surprised baby shower by my cousin..As u all know i was not doing good due to contractions..i was in bed for the whole day..later in the evening my hus forced me to get ready ..i even asked him r u nuts r wut i am in such a pain & u want me to get ready?? & go where..i was really mad at him..since he was pleasing me to come just for an hr..then i started having doubts..& made sure something is going on..then with no mood i got ready,& went along with him..when he took an exit to my cousin's home,i was confirmed.But when we reached her home,there was no cars at all ..& her kids were playing in the front yard as usual.Again i was confused.when i got into the house there was noone..i told her i am not feeling gr8 i want to lie down..& went upstairs..the moment i got into the room ppl were screaming surprise !!!i was shocked..it was really a surprise as i didnt expect all my school friends to be there..my relatives have also come frm far places..my cousin has organized so well with lots of games & fun..everyone there really enjoyed..me too eventhough i cudnt participate in games i was enjoying by watching it..i received so many gifts & jewelery for the baby..it was so nice..just thought of sharing it...everyone was there except my mom & dad...i really missed them..
Ashra Radhika replied. u have a nice family support system here in US too..which is rare ..and i am sure baby shower cheered u up after all the discomforts u were having. Nice to have people who care around u during such times and glad u had a great time..I am sure ur parents will be happy too knowing u are having fun. Enjoy the happy moments and thank GOd for small happy moments even if u have had a few disappointments.
