Hi, I habe discontined breast feeding my baby about 2months ago but have still not got my perids. How long sh. one wait before going to the doctor.pl advise.

My son is 6 month old. As I am a working mother i breast feed my baby only twice in a day and i am still not having my periods. Is it normal?? I do not use any pills use only condoms. Pls help

Hi..I had my paeriod the day my daughter turned four months & I had stopped feeding her when she was 21/2 months old...and please start taking adequate precaution.

Subject:  Advice from a doctor



If you are on a contraceptive pill called the mini-pill or progesterone only pill (this is the pill your doctor normally puts you on if you are breastfeeding), this can cause you to stop having periods or have irregular periods. If you are not on the pill and not breastfeeding, you do need to see your doctor as you may be pregnant.
