Yes, its true upper respiratory tract infections and gastroentitis are extremely common here in India. Children here in India often get cold, and cold allergies. The dust in crowded cities like Mumbai leads to allergies. Pollution levels are high in Mumbai and other metro cities of India.

Many of the diseases are caused due to poor sanitation and hygiene. And even when children fall sick parents must not send them to school. There are parents who send their children to school even when they are sick because they don’t want their child to miss school and homework which is not good.

Yes, India is a polluted country and very overcrowded also. Hence, there are all these problems. Once the issue of population is solved, everything will become alright. Once population reduces even pollution will reduce which will be better. Steps must be taken to reduce population and also increase cleanliness of the environment.

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
