Moms does not like

My mother is an independent woman and does not like to celebrate mother' s day. She refused my gift (a saree chosen by my wife). I only want to see her happy. But she thinks I am trying to bribe her for something. I am very sad. Pls advice

Try to explain to your mother than its just a gift, a way of showing her your appreciation. If she still fails to understand, forget about it. People will have their eccentricities. Your wife will probably be happier to keep the saree.
