Due Date Club December 2005:Archie & all --- Update

Hi all,
today I went to 36weeks appt with my Gync. It seems everything normal. As I have GD she checked the readings and they r normal and no weight gain from last 2 weeks so thats also ok for her.
I asked her that I'm having pelvic pressure and inner thigh pain she said its normal as the baby goes down and she checked the babys head from outside and told its in correct position.
When I told I'm not having that many BHcs she did US so that she can see head position better and found it the head down where she thought . So then she told me as its first time sometimes you may not feel the contractions.
She sceduled NST and another US in next week.
I asked her as so many GD mom's dates are preponed she said for me she'll wait till 41 week(generally she'll wait till 42-43 weeks it seems).
So I'm assuming everything is normal with my baby .

She confirmed the head is in right position and as long as the heartbeat and kick count is good I no need to worry abt not having contractions.
She said she saw very little spotting when she did internal checkup and that is common if I have heavy bleeding then I should contact her.
Is that little spotting is ok?
Archie is there anything I should ask her in my next visit or anything I missed.

Hi!
My friend had GD too and she didn't go into labor naturally she was induced after she crossed her due date. SO don't worry abt not being preponed.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
