dear sonia,
I am going through with unexplained infertility.
U want to know why I went through with IVF. U can say I was stupid. Hey I am not mad.
u know after keep trying for the baby from last 6-7 years I read one article in the news paper about IVF and u know if u want something u never want to miss that chance so I also did the same thing with lots of hope and I was pretty sure I will conceive. And u know when first time I went to see a Dr. she gave me full hope and on first round when I get my result negative that Dr. talk to me and told me to try second time and same she said this time u have 100% chances to get pregnant guess what second time also I get negative result and u know that Dr. even did not bother to talk to me and her office assistant called me about my result .So dear I want my own baby that's why I did that stupid thing but now I don't trust Dr. Because I had feeling that my Dr.'s intention was only to make money and specially in USA it is very expensive and when I tried for that our monthly income was only $2000 we spent around $35-40 thousand .And I learned my lesson don't believe in commercial because that is only a commercial for money making. And I don't want some body else start thinking in my way it's my experience.

I'm sorry to know that you have been treated so callously by some stupid person just trying to make some money out of you.. I completely understand why one would try everything they could for a baby of their own.
I pray that we all have healthy babies very soon.
And I agree with Veena, try to change your job, take something that is not as stressful.

we are trying for a baby for last two years. but we failed. we have done all tests. they are normal.

sonia replied. Dear Parbinder....i never meant to say that ur stupid or mad ....i just wanted to know the reason u went for IVF.
Mainly there r 2 reasons to go for IVF either the tubes r blocked or no eggs or the sperms r very low or not there.
For other reasons there r other less expensive treatments available.
Whatever is the reason i know that infertility could be stressful.
AND lots of people do try to ectract money because we r desperate.
but have hope and sorry for what ur doctor did.

I can relate to your situation so much. Hey, you were not stupid. You just tried all the options you had. Each and every one of here want to try anything so that we can have our own baby. I'm so sorry that your doctor did not have any concern for you.

Don't lose hope. Since you were pregnant once, you will again. Try to find a less stressful job but one that keeps you busy all day. I pray for you and everyone else on this board.
