hi
iam travelling to India this month end with my 8 month old baby. Anybody pl give some advice on how to tackle my baby during takeoff/landing. Her ped told me to give her a bottle(I bottlefeed her)to suck...but she sometimes refuses to take the bottle. Is there any alternative if she refuses the bottle, to reduce the ear pressure????
Any advice is of great help...

I honestly wouldnt advise traveling with a small infant to India. Wait until they are at least one year in age. As their immune system is still not built up. They could very easily get sick. But its your decision. I am a doctor and advice all my mothers not to travel great distances with an infant. But if you choose too, 1stly you DONT boil water. You may buy the water already sterilized, and you dont warm it. all bottles should be prepared with room temp. water. dont heat it. as it could get hot pockets in it and scald the babies mouth. Buy sterilized bottled water if you choose to travel, and have some bottles prepared b4 you go. Take extra water with you to use in India. as India is not as clean and sanitary as our things are. Thats not a pun againt India. Im just saying if your child was born here, and living here until now, he is very likely to get sick due to the change. So plz re-think b4 you go on your trip!
Best of luck
