hi all

i am mother of two kids 3yr and 1yr old since i am working and even not getting enough milk i couldn't breast feed my children for long time. so they were fed with formula from their 3months old. now they both are growing well without any problems, but still i am concerned whether i have to take any spl care or any spl diet to be given to them to avoid any problems. kindly advice me.

thanks K.Radha replied. The only difference between formula & breast milk is that one is natural. Chances are formula was better than anything else. I went through the same as you and I was told by my docs that formula is very good for babys and often better than breast milk but certainly not less. You breastfed early on which is when they most need it because of antibodies & such. I think you've done the right thing and dont worry, your kids will be perfectly fine Tony S replied. dont worry even if u have not breastfed your kids now that they r 3 and 1, give them enough fruits, veggies, eggs, fish amd cow's milk. my aunt did not get enough milk . she stopped breastfeeding her 3 kids after they were 4 months. all of them r absolutely fine, healthy and good eaters and also share a v. close bond with her. so dont worry. u can bond with your kids in more ways than only breastfeeding and also can satisfy their nutrient requirements in so many other foods. u need to keep up good health too. all the best. preeti replied. hi
Actually i m from expecting parents board i can't really help since i m expecting 4 the first time..but would definately like to suggest u 2 post the same message 2 parents of babies board may b that will work and u will get ur answer..anyways have faith in god..love 2 u and the little ones
